The City of Winnipeg has activated a new set of traffic signals at the north intersection of McPhillips Street and Templeton Avenue in the Old Kildonan area.
On the morning of Nov. 8, Coun. Devi Sharma (Old Kildonan) and Coun. Janice Lukes (Waverley West) hosted a press conference to mark the activation of the new signals, which will improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and traffic flow in the community.
“These new traffic signals will not only improve traffic flow here at this very busy intersection, but will also allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross McPhillips Street safely in the years ahead,” Coun. Sharma said.
